    Not Very Accurate

I really like the idea of this kind of pedometer – something to put in your pocket instead of on your belt – but I guess the technology just isn’t quite there yet. The step count is consistently off. I find it very annoying to have paid $25 for a pedometer that doesn’t accurately tell me how many steps I’m walking.

I’ve had this pedometer over a week now and my biggest complaint is that the step count (which is the only feature I use at the moment) sometimes resets while in my pocket. I’m trying for 10k steps a day and often find that it’s reset itself throughout the day. I like the compact size and it fits nicely into my front or back packet. I have yet to set up the strides for distance or calorie definitions.

    Stepp’n All the Way

ThinQ is so convenient and easy to use. It doesn’t always give the exact same results, but whose counting. No product is going to give the same outcome every single time. As long as it is within 25 steps, I’m not going to berate it. Nothing’s perfect. So, for you winers, get over it and walk some more so you can get over your stress.

i walked down stairs to the bathroom and back and it said i walked a tenth of a mile. this is after an accurate setup. not to mention it will reset in your pocket and get scratched.. you think they would realize that would happen to a product that you put in your pocket!?!?

i got one for my husband and we thought it was great. i read other reviews about the steps being off. we just didnt have that experience. in fact we had known distances that we monitored over a period of weeks and it was spot on in distance, with steps being off by just a couple but i have read about pedometers and they almost all do that because it takes a step or two before the pedometer detects that is is walking and not just movement. unfortunately ours got cracked on accident but i’m buying him another one.– oh yeh, we did discover one thing if your pants are too tight it wont work.
