Good addition to a walking program

My friend recommended this product and so far I have found out to be accurate and worth it. The voice takes a little to get use to but overall would recommend.

    Motivator monitor

Once the parameters are set it’s fine. You have to frequently monitor the steps while walking so that it is in fact recording. The belt grip is not adequate if one is not wearing a belt but just has an elastic or drawstring waistband. I’ve atached a reel belt clip that really grabs the waist band so it doesn’t fall off and break. The talking mode is motivating and cute.

    Agree

I just read the previous review and I unfortunately must agree. I had exactly the same experience. I e-mailed the company about the warranty but it is less expensive to buy a new one after you pay shipping. I really liked the concept but it is not very sturdy and if you are doing a walking program there are probably better choices.

    Sportline Talking Pedometer

I absolutely love this pedometer. I bought it from Dick’s Sporting goods last year and I plan to buy another on Amazon just for a back-up since Dick’s has been out of them. I have had no problem with the clip which stays firmly attached to my work-out clothes. I really enjoy hearing the voice announce the amount of steps taken when you get to the next thousand. This is an excellent, no-fuss pedometer without all the gadgetry. It it a great incentive piece for people like me who like to take in more than 10,000 steps a day and since I’m a personal trainer and gym manager, I always recommend this pedometer to my clients. It’s inexpensive, user-friendly and it works. I give it two-thumbs up.

    Talking Calorie Counter Pedometer

The product was hard to assemble. The directions were not detailed enough to explain how to pull the tab to install the battery. As a result, I spent almost $30.00 for a product that I ended up breaking before I could use it!!
